The NLG is organizing legal observers for the march in New Orleans on December 10. The march will be permitted.

If you can help as a legal observer, please respond to Carol Sobel by emailing: carolsobel at aol.com. Please include your cell phone number in the email. We are hoping to be able to put together at least 30-40 legal observers, if not more. Keep in mind that the march is occurring in a city with emergency laws in place, so the rules on demonstrations may not be as clear as they should be -- if they ever are.

Also keep in mind that housing is at a premium in the area and you need to make your own arrangements if you are planning on staying over in the area either the night before or after the march.
